The LXR SE gives learners full-size sports bike looks for under £3,000. You get upside down forks, a full-colour TFT dash and a liquid-cooled engine.
It makes 10.6kW, just under the 11kW learner limit, so you can ride it on L-plates with a CBT from 17. The standard LXR has the same look for £2,578.

125cc Questions
Licences, CBT, finance and delivery
What licence do I need for a 125cc?From 17, you can ride a 125cc of up to 11kW with a provisional licence and a CBT certificate. You'll need L-plates, and we fit them for you.
What can't I do on a CBT?You can't carry a passenger or use motorways. A CBT lasts 2 years. After that, you pass your full licence test or take the CBT again.
Can I ride a 125 on my car licence?No. A car licence doesn't cover 125cc motorbikes on its own. You need to do a CBT first, then you can ride on L-plates.
How do I get rid of the L-plates?Pass the full A1 licence test (from 17). This lets you ride a 125 without L-plates, carry a passenger and use motorways.
Are all your 125s learner legal?Yes. Every 125cc on this page is 125cc or under and no more than 11kW, so you can ride it on a CBT.
Geared or automatic?A geared bike like the LXR or NKD is good preparation for a full licence. An automatic scooter like the XDV or Aura is easier in traffic and has underseat storage for commuting.
Can I get finance?Yes. Finance is subject to status and income, and applicants must be 18 or over. See our finance page for details.
Do you take part exchange or deliver?Yes to both. We take part exchanges, including 50cc mopeds when you move up to a 125. Delivery on new bikes is free within 99 miles of our showroom (HX3 0UA) by the fastest Google Maps route, and discounted beyond that.
