The Monster 797 is a rare thing in modern motorcycling, a turn-key fun machine with no instruction manual required. The 803cc air-cooled Desmodue V-twin is the same engine as the Scrambler, producing 74bhp and 50.8lb-ft, and it makes 80% of its peak torque by 3,500rpm. That low and mid-range grunt is what makes it so easy to ride. It sounds and feels like a proper old-school Monster rather than a modern electronics package.
This is the Plus variant, which adds the flyscreen and pillion seat cover as factory fitment. Both are worth having and both cost money to add afterwards. Beyond that the kit list is deliberately simple: no traction control or riding modes, but ABS is standard along with Brembo monobloc radial calipers on twin 320mm front discs, 43mm inverted forks and a USB port under the seat.
This genuine low mileage example features fully R&G protection with paddock stand bobbins, crash bobbins, front fork sliders, swimg arm sliders and tail tidy. It also features datatag, two keys, owners manual and service book with four stamps in the book last service was done at 4,000 miles in 2026. The belts are due and will be done as part of our prep.
