2017 saw a chiselled and modified KTM 1290 Super Duke R with slightly more power, updated suspension, and updated look. However, its updated electronics, which provide improved rider aids and a new Track riding mode that lets you select different throttle response levels and switch off anti-wheelie while keeping traction control on, stole the show. New internal damping settings and heavier fork springs (up from 95 to 100N/mm) were features of the revised WP suspension. It provides a more comfortable ride on the road, while on the track, there is much greater control, agility, and feel through the tyres.Thanks to redesigned bars that are 20 mm wider, 5 mm lower, and 18.5 mm further forward, the riding position is more aggressive but still comfortable.
