The 2012 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 (XL883N) is a raw, stripped-down bobber-inspired cruiser known for its aggressive, blacked-out aesthetic and authentic Harley sound and feel. It is often considered an ideal entry-level Harley due to its manageable power, low seat height, and high potential for customization.
At its core is an air-cooled, 883cc Evolution® V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), which is rubber-mounted to reduce vibration for a smoother ride. It produces a solid 55 ft-lb of torque at 3,500 rpm, providing plenty of grunt for city riding.
